Why did fetching fail?+
Facebook's page markup changes often, and a lot of video is login-walled — private groups, some Reels, and age-restricted posts won't resolve here, since this tool never signs in on your behalf.
What's the difference between HD and SD?+
These are the two complete files Facebook publishes for a public video: HD is the higher-bitrate copy, offered only when Facebook stored one, and SD is the standard compressed copy that exists for basically every video. Some videos expose more than one file at the same rung, and those show up as extra 'alt' entries. Higher resolutions than HD exist inside Facebook's streaming manifest, but only as video-only tracks with the audio in a separate file, so they can't be downloaded as one playable clip.
Do I need to install anything or log in?+
