About ClipReel
ClipReel is a small utility with one job: take a link to a public post and hand back the video file underneath it. No account, no app install, no watermark added on top.
Why it exists
Saving a video you have every right to keep — your own clip, something sent to you, a post you want to reference later — shouldn’t require an account, a browser extension, or a site full of pop-ups. ClipReel resolves the link, shows you what’s available, and gets out of the way.
What it supports
Public posts and videos from Twitter / X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest.
What it doesn’t do
- It doesn’t log in on your behalf, so private or age-restricted content stays out of reach.
- It doesn’t store the videos it resolves — each request is fetched fresh.
- It doesn’t add a watermark, re-encode, or otherwise alter the file it hands back.
- It doesn’t grant any rights to what you download — see the note on every page about only saving content you own or have permission to reuse.
